An artist’s studio turned family home, arranged across three levels around light, art and a roof terrace open to the sky.

The idea
Light travels through every level.
The volume had to hold two lives: a place for inspiration and a family home. Its spaces remain visually connected despite the changes in level.
Roof windows, translucent polycarbonate and a terrace draw daylight deep inside. The ground floor contains an open kitchen, a large living room, a bathroom and two rooms; above sit an open platform, a second bathroom and the main bedroom.
